Debra has an impressive background in banking and finance and has enjoyed a highly successful 29-year career in key senior management and leadership roles within the Westpac Group.
In her role as the Manager of Westpac’s Women’s Markets Unit in SA/NT, Debra developed expertise in the creation of financial opportunities for women. As a result of her commitment to Women’s Markets over a 10 year period, Westpac was recognised as the No. 1 Bank of Choice for Women in SA.
Debra has a passion to educate and empower women with the right tools and strategies to help them achieve both their professional and financial goals.
Prior to her extensive work in women’s banking, Debra was Area Manager of Westpac’s Priority Banking segment responsible for a team of Relationship Managers providing total financial care to the Bank’s existing high value and high potential personal clients.
Debra’s expertise in management was recognised early in her career as a Bank Manager in Westpac’s Hutt Street and McLaren Vale branches where she assisted business and personal clients with their banking and financial needs.
Financially astute and commercially savvy, Debra has the proven ability to develop extensive business networks, key contacts and strategic partnerships throughout SA. Her achievements in promoting brand awareness along with building and retaining a membership/client base are highly valued.
A passionate South Australian with a strong personal brand, Debra is widely respected in the business community and as a result has been selected as a judge for many prestigious state awards including the Telstra SA Business Woman of the Year awards and the SA Tourism Industry Awards.
Debra is currently on the board of Move Through Life Dance Company, was formerly on the board of TAFE (North Region) and holds a Diploma in Financial Planning Principles and Practices.
