Margot’s career encompasses operational management, leadership and Board roles across sectors and industry groups. Primary expertise is in the inter-related areas of Leadership, Strategy & Change, Organisational Development and Learning & Development. Margot’s practice also draws on her PhD in senior level decision making and incorporates the latest research in neuroscience and cognition into her work. Clarity, commercial acumen and a practical ‘working on the work’ orientation underpin delivery.
Margot’s current role drives key elements of the People & Culture strategy in driving transformation and building capability to achieve Group & Brand level Vision and Strategic priorities. Responsible for providing business partnering related to Capability Development across the Adecco Group Australia, including Adecco Australia, Judd Farris and Ajilon. Responsibility for the delivery of the Learning and Development strategy and operations through a team of Learning and Development professionals. The role also incorporates domain expertise in strategy development, executive level evidence based decision making and development of high performance teams.
A demonstrated ability to design, implement and support Organisational Change and Development strategies, with experience in leading international initiatives within complex organisations. Applications include design and facilitation of strategic planning initiatives, change management, creating the strategic story/change narrative in organisations, stakeholder and employee engagement, talent pipeline and succession planning, performance alignment and coaching individuals and teams for high performance. Margot is accredited across a wide range of psychometric instruments, profiles and organisational diagnostic tools.
Emphasis is place on a focused, collaborative approach, combined with an invaluable background in communications, relationship building and project management. Focus is on clarity and alignment, which drives productivity and performance.
Margot is an Adjunct Professor of Strategy with Curtin University and continues to work externally with clients, Boards and associations such as the AICD. Margot was awarded her PhD in Information Systems (Executive Decision Making) from Curtin’s School of Information Systems. She holds a Bachelor of Business (1st Class Hons; Marketing & Finance, Curtin University) and a Diploma of Teaching (English & Comms; ECU)
