Kylie has accounting qualifications and over 20 years’ experience within professional services environments. She has worked in small, medium and multi-national corporations within the engineering, environmental services and legal industries.
Kylie now describes herself as an expert generalist and offers skills in finance and people management, business and risk analysis, strategic planning and governance. She is a pragmatic solution provider and is committed to a leadership and communication style that enhances the outcomes for businesses and its people.
In 2007, despite a thyroid cancer diagnosis, Kylie co-founded LBW Co, an environmental consulting company that specialises in the assessment, monitoring and remediation of contaminated sites.
LBW Co was listed as one of SA’s fastest growing businesses in 2009, 2010 & 2011 with turnover growth in excess of 40% every year and, with 15 staff, is now a market leader in the industry and one of SA’s largest teams of contaminated land and water specialists.
In 2011 Kylie co-founded Water Plan Consulting, which specialises in project management and concept development for water supply infrastructure. A small team of specialist engineers now offer support to major water regulators in SA, WA, QLD and NZ.
Kylie’s broad career experience has seen her offer professional coaching and mentoring under the LBW banner for some time. Her passion to be involved in the ongoing support and development of young people, professional women and small business owners, was the driver to found her third company, Incredible U, in July 2013.
Kylie’s entrepreneurial spirit, her interest in people and her drive for continuous improvement, saw her announced as the 2012 South Australian Telstra Business Woman of the Year. She was also the winner of the 2012 Hudson Private and Corporate Sector Award and the runner up in the 2012 Nokia Innovation Award.
