About BCD
behind closed doors (BCD) was established in 2008 by Donny Walford, who had a vision to create a national community of women who could connect with broader networks and develop their leadership potential.
BCD provides structured Memberships, Coaching and Mentoring, and Leadership Programs exclusively for women nationally. Through these initiatives, women are challenged, held accountable, given the opportunity to share knowledge and experiences, and receive unbiased, independent advice from their Coach/Mentor, Facilitator, Program Director, and fellow Members.
Face-to-face and online Memberships and one-to-one Coaching and Mentoring programs are available in separate categories to suit you and the stage you are at in your career or business maturity. Our categories include Executives, Emerging Leaders and Entrepreneurs.
BCD Memberships, Coaching and Mentoring, and Leadership Programs have been developed, enhanced, tested, and measured, which has given us an inherent understanding of the challenges women deal with and what drives business performance. The outcome will be building outstanding leaders with superior decision making skills, better organisational performance, better bottom line, and return on investment.

Our vision is to establish greater than 40% female representation on Australian Boards and increase the number of women in leadership roles. We are committed to supporting women entrepreneurs and business owners to expand and scale their businesses by providing them with the necessary tools, resources, and networks.
