What does it mean to be a facilitator?

“It’s such a privilege working with so many talented women. We’re very lucky to be facilitators at BCD, we get to watch the journey of growth in our up and coming leaders, people who are very successful in their career and we help them to grow within themselves and within their career."

The role of a facilitator is to keep the conversation moving and to also help to bring the best out in people to enable them to really cross examine the reasons why they’re doing things and to hold them accountable to their goals.

Through the BCD journey we help women to be able to explore their true potential to build that confidence within women to take that step to get out there and meet the right people and understand what it is that they need to do to secure their next position. I have seen some remarkable growth in some of the women who have participated and in fact all of the women get so much out of participating in BCD sessions.

If you’re accountable to a group of peers, people who you respect, people who you meet with every month and between time, I think you have a greater chance of success.”
