Kate Irving


Kate IrvingKate Irving is the General Manager of the Robinson Institute, a leading medical research facility of the University of Adelaide and Deputy Chair of the SALA Festival.

She has enjoyed a career of diversity as a Senior Executive within large commercial organisations and as founder of a new concept entrepreneurial venture.

Creating and developing initiatives and problem solving to achieve sustainable business outcomes is her forte. The breadth of her experience includes: business strategy, planning and management, stakeholder engagement, strategic business development, marketing and communications, project management, leadership and coaching. With a proven record in influencing cultural change and building trusted relationships, Kate brings the strength and the skills to drive innovation and change, the ability to see the big picture and to engage stakeholders. 

In her community work, Kate has coached and mentored individuals. She has served as a non-executive director on the boards of a Children’s Charity and a Theatre Company.
