Linda Bowes FacilitatorLinda Bowes’ professional career, spanning senior management and chief executive roles in marketing, real estate, local government, the wine industry and the arts, has equipped her with a wealth of knowledge, skills and life experiences.

Her extensive experience as a non-executive director, appointed to numerous boards and committees throughout her career. These include the South Australian Tourism Commission Board, the RAIL Advisory Board (Adelaide-Darwin Railway), chairman of Australian Dance Theatre and of the South Australian Wine Tourism Advisory Board. In 2018 she stepped down as presiding member of the Environment Protection Authority of South Australia (EPA), serving on the EPA Board for a total of 13 years, and as chairman of Barossa Grape & Wine Association Incorporated after a decade of service.

Through her consultancy business. Linda has used her skills, innate curiosity and ability to get to the nub of an issue and help others clarify their strategic pathway, overcome roadblocks, engage with stakeholders and drive profitable outcomes.  She has particular empathy with not-for-profits and industry sectors and loves the work she does supporting the development of future leaders.

Linda Bowes’ contribution to business and industry has been recognised with her induction into the Australian Businesswomen’s Hall of Fame. She is also a member of The Executive Connection (SA Chapter) alumni.

In 2013 Linda launched her manufacturing and retail business, Glamwrap Merino and added the journey of a successful start up to her long list of experience.

An adventurer at heart, Linda Bowes has successfully tackled the 96km Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea, summited the highest mountain in SE Asia – Mount Kinabalu in Borneo, and in 2018 hiked the Mont Blanc range in France and the Julian Alps in Slovenia.
