Jane Jeffreys AM
Jane Jeffreys is an accomplished Company Director and Managing Director of Jane Jeffreys Consulting, a successful Management Consulting firm based in Adelaide, South Australia.
The principle areas of Jane’s professional and consulting practice include strategic planning, governance, Executive and Board performance, organisation reviews and executive coaching.
Jane’s key areas of expertise include the ability to identify and focus on the critical issues, the ability to find innovative and creative solutions, outstanding communication skills and established business networks. She is an experienced Board Member, strategic thinker, and has the confidence to challenge conventional wisdom.
Jane is an experienced businesswoman with extensive board, executive and consulting expertise across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. She has outstanding communication skills and established networks within business and government and more than 30 years’ experience as an Executive, Chief Executive, Director and Chair of organisations in sectors which include Tourism and Hospitality, Education, Aged Care, Financial Services, Business, Technology, Community, Arts and Sport.
Jane has many years’ experience as a Facilitator for the Australian Institute of Company Directors’ Course, in-boardroom workshops and other short courses. She has also completed the AICD Mastering the Boardroom program.
Current Board appointments include Chair of West Beach Parks and Brand SA and Director of Funds SA, Iocane Pty Ltd and Lentor Pty Ltd T/A Jane Jeffreys Consulting.
Previous Directorships include Chair of Gaming Care, Chair of Data Action, Chair Gannon Lifestyle Communities Pty Ltd, Chair and Director of the award winning Adelaide Convention Centre, Chair and CEO of the South Australian Tourism Commission, Director Tourism Australia, Chair ECH Aged Care Inc., Chair St Peters Collegiate Girls School, Member Independent Gambling Authority, Chair Come Out Festival, Deputy Chair Le Cordon Bleu Academic Board, Director Port Adelaide Football Club/AFL Port Power and Chair Patch Theatre Company.
Jane was awarded Member (AM) of the Order of Australia in the King’s Birthday 2023 Honours for her significant service to the community of South Australia through a range of roles.
Jane is Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute and holds qualifications in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations.
