Georgia is a Chartered Accountant with a degree in economics whose career trajectory followed the conventional path within professional services, culminating in a senior managerial position. Pursuing her passion for training and mentoring she has actively engaged in educational roles throughout her career, including tutoring at Adelaide University, serving as a group leader and exam marker for the esteemed Chartered Accountant (CA) Program, and acting as an official mentor for CA candidates. In 2006, Georgia made a pivotal transition from her senior client-facing responsibilities to a role specialising in Learning and Development within a global accounting firm. In this capacity, she was tasked with conceptualising and implementing programs aimed at cultivating well-rounded and commercial professionals. Her focus extended beyond technical proficiency, emphasising the development of broad business skills, business acumen, and the delivery of exceptional client service, with the overarching goal of nurturing trusted business advisors.
Characterised by a balanced blend of analytical prowess and empathetic understanding, Georgia approaches learning and development as a holistic endeavour. She firmly believes that such initiatives should never be isolated or reduced to mere checkbox exercises, instead, they must be tailored to the individual and their organisational context to yield meaningful outcomes. Georgia is acutely aware of the demands inherent in high-performance cultures and has consistently supported professionals across all levels to not only adapt but thrive in such environments. Georgia holds a Level 1 Certification with the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership.
Georgia’s love of the arts has seen her previously holding a board position with the Windmill Theatre Co.
