Janet Finlay
Janet Finlay is an independent professional director and experienced business adviser having worked in professional services for more than 25 years, including 15 years as a partner of Big 4 accounting firm, EY.
Janet has a strong commercial and finance background with a practical understanding of and experience across a range of industries and with public, private, international and not-for-profit organisations.
A strategic thinker, she has extensive experience in leadership, governance, business development, financial management and reporting, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
Accustomed to working in complex and uncertain environments, Janet has a calm, disciplined approach and uses constructive insights and questions to challenge, influence and guide.
She is highly regarded for her ability to critically analyse and communicate complex matters, identify commercial issues and find practical solutions.
Her current board roles include SA Water, University of Adelaide, Libraries Board SA and St John Ambulance SA. She also provides business advice, mentoring and consulting services through her company Leveque Consulting and has a passion for helping people and organisations be their best.
Janet is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand, Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Registered Tax Agent.
