Linda Bowes

Linda’s professional career, spanning senior management and chief executive roles in marketing, real estate, local government, the wine industry and the arts, has equipped her with a wealth of knowledge, skills and life experiences.

Linda also has extensive experience on many and varied boards and committees. She is currently a non-executive director of The University of Adelaide's Roseworthy Campus Farm Pty Ltd.  

Previous board appointments include the South Australian Tourism Commission, chair of Australian Dance Theatre, chair of Barossa Grape & Wine Association (now Barossa Australia), chair of the South Australian Wine Tourism Advisory Board, and presiding member of the Environment Protection Authority of South Australia (EPA). 

Through her consultancy business. Linda has used her skills, innate curiosity and ability to get to the nub of an issue to help businesses clarify their strategic pathway, overcome roadblocks, engage with stakeholders and drive profitable outcomes.  She has particular empathy with not-for-profits and industry sectors and loves the work she does supporting the development of future leaders.

Linda’s contribution to business and industry was recognised with her induction into the Australian Businesswomen’s Hall of Fame.

In 2013 Linda launched her manufacturing and retail business, Glamwrap Merino and added the journey of a successful start up to her long list of experience.

An explorer at heart, Linda's adventures have included the 96km Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea, summitting Mount Kinabalu in Borneo, hiking the Mont Blanc range in France, the Julian Alps in Slovenia, and making the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage through the Kii Mountains of Japan.
